As Principal Contractor we were responsible for all site management and construction work activities including the site strip and management of subcontractors, such as those installing the screw-piles and steel frame. The building being of unusual light gauge steel frame construction required careful detailing on site and liaising with the architect to maintain the building fabric efficiency and full compliance with Building Regulations. Light gauge steel buildings have the potential for rapid construction. The works also consisted of cladding and knapped flintwork externally. The dwelling was completed in the summer of 2024.
